When your drill string gets stuck, a drilling jar applies force to knock it free. However, this can be challenging in highly deviated, horizontal or shallow holes.
A drilling jar booster enhances any drilling jar’s effectiveness. It increases the impact of the jar’s force in adverse applications, such as wells with high tortuosity or shallow depth, highly deviated or horizontal wells, and rigs with limited push/pull capacity.
Each Cougar JB1 Jar Booster is engineered, designed and manufactured in Canada. Constructed of high-grade, heat-treated steel, they’re then tested for optimal performance prior to shipment worldwide.
