When your drill string gets stuck, a drilling jar applies force to knock it free. However, this can be challenging in highly deviated, horizontal, and shallow wells.
A jar booster enhances any drilling’s jar effectiveness by increasing the impact of the jar’s force in adverse applications, such as wells with tortuosity or shallow depth, highly deviated or horizontal wells, and rigs with limited push/pull capacity.
Each Cougar JB1 Jar Booster is engineered, designed, and manufactured in Canada. Constructed of high-grade, heat-treated steel, they’re then tested for optimal performance prior to shipment worldwide.
